Lesley Ann Brandt was a South African actress and model born on the 2nd of December, 1981. Her most prominent roles are in television and films. After beginning her acting career through the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous shows over the last decade which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians and Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Brandt is the character Mazikeen on the urban fantasy show Lucifer that stars Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town in South Africa. Her move to Auckland, New Zealand with her family when she reached her twenties. Her career began as model for print ads and commercial ads. She worked as an IT recruitment consultant and also in retail prior to becoming well-known as a fashion model. In 2009 she was cast in the New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. Her debut appearance came in Spartacus Blood and Sand in 2021. She played Naevia, a slave in the series. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus prequel Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker and she co-starred in three different television shows, Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, Mazikeen began her role as a bounty-hunting demon in Netflix's smash hit Lucifer. It is her largest role so far. The show co-stars together with Tom Ellis Lauren French Kevin Alejandro D. B. Woodside.
